I am a native of Nebraska, having grown up on our family farm in the middle of the state. I grew up involved in school and sports and working on the farm. I learned to fly and enjoyed that experience. But most important, I learned to love Jesus and made a profession of faith as a Christian.
I went on to college and received a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Nebraska in Lincoln, NE, a Master of Business Administration degree from Boise State University in Boise, ID, and a Master of Divinity degree from Emmanuel Christian Seminary at Milligan in Johnson City, TN. I was ordained as a Christian Minister by my home church and spent about ten years as a Pastor at several churches. I also have experience working as a teacher and doing sales.
I currently live in middle Tennessee with my wife of almost 38 years, Sherry. Our son Brett and his wife Julie live nearby. Life has not always been easy, but through the struggles God has been there to guide us through. This is the message I have shared on my podcast and what I believe God is leading me to share in more ways in social media. The greatest treasure in life truly is knowing God and His Son Jesus Christ in a personal, intimate relationship.
